Pizza Chips in the Instant Vortex

Low Carb, Keto Friendly, Diabetic Friendly (As long as you skip the pizza sauce) and kid-friendly! This is perfect for those days your craving pizza but really don’t want the carbs in the dough.

This recipe is a crowd-pleaser, takes less than 13 minutes to make the first pan.. and the whole recipe makes 36 chips or 3 – 12 cup pan fulls!

They were a HUGE hit with my teenage daughters. They ate an entire plate full and then wanted more. Even Hannah who can be very picky about her food was a big fan. She even suggested a variation, which I did do on the 2nd recipe test. She wanted Ham instead of pepperonis and it was a great alternative.

Grab a mixing bowl and let’s get cooking!!

Add 2 cups of Parmesan Cheese to your mixing bowl.

Add one 1 tsp of Oregano.

Add 1 tsp of Basil.

Add 1 tsp of Garlic Powder

Salt and Pepper to your taste.

Mix the ingredients all together well.

Spray the mini muffin spray with oil.

Now 1/2 fill each muffin well with the mixture.

Set the Vortex Air Fryer to 300 degrees for 5 minutes.

Put mini pepperonis on top of each well and then press each well down firmly.

Once the Vortex reaches temperature the display will flash “add food”.

Add food to the middle rack of the oven. Let the chips cook for the 5 minutes and then remove them from the oven.

Let the pan rest for 1 full minute. Then use a fork to spin and remove each chip.

Place the chips on a paper towel to absorb the grease from the bottom.

Now repeat the process 3 times for a total of 36 chips. Using the ingredients I have used this comes to a total of 8 carbs for all 36 chips.

Warm-up some pizza sauce and serve on the side for dipping.

Now serve them up and see how long they last.
